Lang’s Peninsula Roofing, Inc., is a well-established, family-owned and locally operated roofing company that has served the Monterey Bay area since 1970. Started by Helmut Lang as Peninsula Roof Service in 1970, the company was joined by the current owner, Mike Lang, when he began working with his dad at age 18. Mike became a partner in 1986, learning the trade from practical experience as well as from the shared knowledge of his father. He finally owned the business himself in 1996, when his dad retired. Lang’s Peninsula Roofing, Inc., has a fine reputation built on the honesty, integrity, hard work and quality craftsmanship instilled and taught by Mike’s Dad and carried on today by Mike and his crew. It continues to be a family business, with Mike’s brother, Thomas, who has 20 years of experience, working alongside Mike. We are also fortunate to have crew members who have been with the company for two to 25 years. We are a fully licensed, bonded and insured roofing company specializing in residential re-roofing, from high-end custom roofs to standard roofing systems of various materials, for customers throughout the Monterey Peninsula.
